Project Description

Forest Management & Decision Support System (FMDSS) is developed with the strategic objective to make forest department’s operations & processes more efficient and in-turn ensure smooth functioning of other forest wings and units.

Approach and Objective

It is a single Integrated Web Based Management and Monitoring System which will provide ease of accessing all the forest department’s activities/process information like forest produce, development & protection activities, crimes & offences, financial transactions etc. of the forest department and also to provide an online interface to the citizens for exchange of information and online services.

Hardware: Three VM Servers are provided by RSDC for Development, Staging (for Testing) and Production environment

Database: Microsoft SQL 2012

Full- fledged integration of FMDSS ver 2.0 with Janaadhar, e-Vault and GIS.
