Project Description

eSign or Electronic Signature Service is an innovative initiative for allowing easy, efficient, and secure signing of electronic documents by authenticating signer using Aadhaar eKYC services

Approach and Objective

The objective of the eSign Service is
1) Design and develop a system so that user can digitally sign a document without having to obtain the physical cryptographic token.
2) Obtained Licence of Certifying authority
3) To act as a single unified electronic signature system for all applications, solutions and platforms to ensure implementation of true good governance in Rajasthan

Outcome

1) paperless Service Delivery and Paperless office
2) Public Service Automation.

1. eSign Data Centre established at DR Site Jodhpur
2. eSign DR site at Library Building, Secretariat Jaipur.
3. eSign CA solution (CERTRIX)- COTS product.

Outlook

1) To provide the eSign Services to entities other than Rajasthan Government.
2) Generate Revenue by rolling out eSign and DSC service to private and Government organisation on chargeable basis
3) Provide services to citizens
