Project Description

The Rajasthan Medical Journal (RMJ) is a scholarly journal of the Medical and Health Department, Government of Rajasthan and is published by Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College, Jaipur. The Rajasthan Medical Journal (RMJ) web application automates the submission, review and publication process of RMJ and provides the platform to researchers to get their manuscript published online.

Approach and Objective

• The aim of the Rajasthan Medical Journal (RMJ) web application is to provide an intellectual platform where scientists, researchers, and academics can actively participate in exchanging their profound scientific endeavors worldwide.
• This project automates the submission, review and publication process of RMJ.
• The objective of the project is to solve many of the challenges faced by the current manual system of Journal and Publication processes.

Outcome

• Automation of the Submission process, review process, and publication process
• Contributors from any part of the world can submit their articles for assessment and publication
• Since the system is a web-based system, Researchers, Students, and Contributors can access all the published articles from any location in the world.
• Minimize manual intervention to eliminate delays and rework.
• A system for tracking the entire process, including verification and approval.
• Utilize acknowledgments and notifications to streamline communication among stakeholders.
• A system for monitoring statistics, including the number of research submissions and real-time process status updates.
